Using Pikey as a term to indentify members of the traveller community is racist...
And Bob as term to identify Indians is racist...
We are saying that a term to identify a racial group is racist.
That doesn't work though as we need terms to identify groups. Indian is a term to identify Indians.
That suggests that Bob is only racist as it causes offence.
That doesn't work either as I'm not aware of an Indian being offended at being called bob (or Indian).
That suggests that it's racist when other groups are offended.
That doesn't work... cos snowflakes....
What about a term that describes a common behaviour? Like wobble-heads? That sounds offensive to me, but I'm not Indian, and they do wobble their heads.
I don't mean it offensively but I think it might be offeinsive so I probably shouldn't say it. That then means that I am defining, by my offence what is racist.
So now I'm a fooking snowflake.
EDIT: I'm sure I can't be banned as talking about racism isn't racist. It's education.
