Just had a look at my stats. I'm getting 43 visitors a day on average (I've been putting myself about a bit lately in readiness for my next contract... ).

That will increase as I've got Christmas cards printed with my Company name and web details (as well as the pens and cute calculators) that will be winging their way to prospective punters tomorrow...

Although as Cliphead says, it's main purpose was to give me my very own cojak@cojaktraining.co.uk

I have my own, a techie blog, and a support forum - it helps advertise a bit as well, especially when I'm going for niche jobs which my forum focuses on.

I have got work through it for running training courses - this month's average is just over 80 visits a day (2200 hits, according to the stats this month)

I'm looking at starting a blog in the New Year. I've just got to decide what to put in it (a task easier said than done...)

Got three, one contractor, one s.w business and one pure rubbish. All they have in common is lots of orange.

                I have 3.

                1. is the company website ... complete tosh buts its a nice place to put detailed descriptions of what I do ... case studies etc.

                2. plan B is completley online. Should be running in a month or so. Its very cool (trust me) - not least becuase I am hoping that a few pimps go out of business.

                3. Comlpete trash website which is mostly pictures of me throwing up.

Mines'a a 1-page overview of what the company does, with a link to a technical forum I regularly help out on. I thought posting my own details with a phone number etc. would be a bad thing for IR35? There's only me in this particular company, but my site says we're a consultancy, and my right of substitution clause may suffer if the only contact displayed for all to see is my own.
