      Why do you think the UK only goes to war between 20 and 35 degrees North of the Equator?
      Those are the only places that our equipment works.

        One must have imagined one's time spent in Ceylon then

        Regarding taking new equipment out in the wet - one wouldn't do it with a nice car, bike or carriage so why with a new plane? This seems an eminently sensible position to take.
