Guy at my last workplace used to turn up piss-arse drunk , disappear for hours at a time, go off on angry rants for no reason at all, totally unstable
but thats enough about the bankers, lets focus on the OP here

serious response:
been exactly there for several years, struggled but managed to keep 'just' within the boundaries of acceptibility and these days function a lot better generally. Some things that helped:
Change or lower medication, you will be surprised how easy it is to stablise
Regular exercise to wear yourself out and get to sleep earlier
Use CBT & better self-care generally
Also just be really bloody good at your job, you might not win fans, but if you're hitting home-runs whatever shift you pull they tend to put up with it to get the job done
Next contract aim outside of IR35, try for something delivery focused, no core hours & WFH
