Hanna on Amazon Prime.
Loosely based on the film of the same name. High production value and the script appears to have been written by adults... so far. Would recommend.

Beck on Amazon Prime.
Scandi-police drama with English subtitles. I'd seen the more recent series 5 and 6 on BBC4, but stumbling upon the complete catalogue Series 1 (1998) through 6 (2018) will give me the chance to watch the whole thing develop.
Would recommend.

The later series are really very good. The earlier ones are clearly of their time, but still very watchable. Happy as a pig in muck and I've just renewed my Prime subscription so that I can keep watching.Originally posted by woohoo View PostI like a good scandi police drama, nice one.

Trapped on Amazon Prime
Icelandic, small town crime drama with English subtitles. I recorded it when it was on BBC4, but didn't get around to watching it and then deleted it. Big mistake, it's really very good.
Would recommend.

The Bomb a documentary strangely enough about the nuclear Bomb. Quite rough round the edges but informative.
Currently watching atom
Atom (TV Mini-Series 2007– ) - IMDb
with Jim Al-Khalili
this generations James Burke. Forget Brian Cox this bloke explains it well.
oh sorry for our more discerning posters both are on Amazon Prime.Last edited by vetran; 27 September 2020, 16:25.Comment
