Scooter has no idea what he's talking about. Scooter is wrong constantly. Yet he keeps trying to change the goal posts to pretend that he didn't get it wrong last time (and the time before that, and the time before that ......)I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man

Mathematically it's worse for his argument depending on perspective, a loss of 10% and a subsequent gain of 10% doesn't give you the starting figure:Originally posted by Whorty View PostWhat absolute codswallop. If it 'crashed' 10%, and it started at the same position it finished at, then it must have also 'soared' about 10% too in June
FFS, you really are desperate to try and prove your narrative.
1000 - 10% = 900
900 + 10% = 990Comment

A lot of people forget this fact. If the stock market falls 50% and you buy that bombed out stock that no one wants, it has to go up 100% just to get back to where it was before the crash. Crap bombed out stocks rarely go up 100%, more likely they go to zero.Originally posted by TheGreenBastard View PostMathematically it's worse for his argument depending on perspective, a loss of 10% and a subsequent gain of 10% doesn't give you the starting figure:
