Lots of ex Arsenal players (inc McLintock, Charlie George, Sammy Nelson, Bob Wilson etc) at various Highbury farewell events.
Forrest Whittaker on a Jubilee line train (and making no attempt to disguise who he was, much to the amazement of a group of Amrican tourists)
Emma Thompson (also on a Jubilee line train, but keeping her head down. I offered her my seat, but she politely declined it)
Kenny Everett (years ago at the Beeb, my brother was in a TV show and we went up for the day)
Blue Peter presenters Lesley Judd, Peter Purves & John Noakes (as above)
Two of the cast of Drop the Dead Donkey, blatantly snogging at JFK airport (I'll leave it to your imagination who they were)
Little Richard (embalmed rock & roll star, he was staying in our hotel in LA.)
Eddie Griffen (US comedian, and star of the Deuce Bigalow films, at the same hotel as above.)
Maxine from Corrie, in my local M&S.
The guy who used to play Queen Vic landlord Eddie Royle in Eastenders. Lives nearby, sometimes drinks in my local.
A new Eastenders character called Keith something, very scruffy, also drinks in my local.
Dermot Reeve at Lords, I was in a box with some friends and one of them knew him so he came in for a chat. Very funny bloke.
Chesney Hawkes - nearly had a fight with him in a bar in Covent Garden years ago
complete twat (him, not me)
James Earl Jones (the voice of Darth Vader) and some bint from a show called Melrose Place (Josie something) - I was in the front row of the audience for a US talk show and they came over for a chat.
Jamiroquais bass player. I used to work with his mum, and he used to come down in his XJS.
Alan Hansen. In the gents at the BBC a few years ago. We found ourselves in adjacent urinals, but I strictly observed the 'no talking' rule until we had both finished.
Prunella Scales & her hubby (can't remember his name) they sat down opposite me on a train to Waterloo, and we ended up chatting. I resisted the (extreme) temptation to ask her to shout "Basil!!" down the train.
Ron Atkinson & Gary Newbon at Vigo airport after an Arse away match. Ron was behind me in the Xray machine queue, which needless to say he kept setting off, much to the amusement of the gathering crowd of Gooners behind him.
James May (Capt Slow from Top Gear) came into my local pub a couple of years ago, and he even drank his pint slowly.
