After 10 years of being smoke free I've succumbed once again to the evil weed.

One major life event & the cravings are back as bad as ever

Anyone on here vape? Does it really feel like smoking a fag?

It can be if you get the right one...

But if you are getting cravings are they nicotine cravings or just need to have that smoking feeling cravings.

I smoke - probably should give up as it is killing me - if I was you I would really try to avoid starting again.

I switched for cigs to vaping virtually overnight once I got the right kit. I love vaping so if anything I do it too much but so use lowest or zero nicotine.

It doesn't feel like smoking a fag no. It's different but I find it more enjoyable. You get used to the style of vaping fairly quickly after coughing at first and then just have to find a flavour you like.

Problem is finding a style that suits you. Mouth to lung or direct to lung. Then youve got to get some good kit. Not these god awful pens in garages and the stick with it through the coughing phase. Once you are passed that you won't need to pick a fag up ever again.

Although I Vape quite a bit I cannot smoke a cig even if I wanted. It tastes absolutely rank.

It takes the edge off things & it's better than drinking. I guess I'm feeling bloody minded so don't really care ATM!

Looks like a visit to one of those specialist vaping shops is in order then.

Tried em for a while, then stopped. Don't do anything for me. Same with fags.

To be honest I went to two who just palmed me off with the pen cigs first time and an aspire starter thing second time. Didn't explain the difference between Mouth to Lung or Direct to Lung. Tried giving me a cig replacement but I was more comfortable with the bigger ones.

You got any mates who have a spare you could either borrow or take a couple of drags out of? Try find a shop that has testers in or something they use to showcase the flavours so you can actually try some drags. Don't let him sell you a 30 quid starter kit to get you out of the shop.

Although, if he has worked it through with you don't be afraid to put your hand in your pocket and get decent kit. Might be 40 quid+ but it will last for years and that's less than 4 packs of cigs.

I vape but can't stand nearly all juices, only ones I like are El Toro Cigarillos & the occasional Red Vape Havano Gold.

The Innokin Cool Fire IV is a pretty good/cheap mod, and I'd recommend an Apex 5 tank as it's the only one I've found that doesn't leak....oh and a .5ohm coil seems to be best for flavour and vapour production.

The beauty -compared to fags- is you can get seriously mashed on nicotine without any side effects other than a bit of 'vape breath' which is easily fixed with some chewing gum.
