    How is halal meat prepared?
God's name must be invoked in a one-line blessing called the Tasmiyah, said before any slaughter. British Halal Food Authority slaughtermen use the most common version, "Bismillahi-Allahu Akbar" (In the name of Allah the greatest)

I think the fair/PC option is to invoke every's God's name (Christain, Jew, Muslim...) during this process and call it Golal to make every one happy..? It is going to be very easy as I heard people uses recorded prayers during Halal process. So include all Gods in the recording.

Should include Golal Pig & Fish as well, to make those people happy as well.

Do you envision people of Islamic faith would be happy with Kosher blessed meat?

It has somewhat. From a lack of choice at schools, to seeing too many burkhas in the high street to Life of Brian and Mohammed and halal fish, ending up with a unifying all encompassing God called Golal.

to avoid anyone getting seriously injured by hearing other God's names, ear plugs must be supplied to butchers, who will decide when to put ear plugs based on their faith.

On his planet, almost anything is possible...
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

You like calling out people as bigots but you're not particularly bang on the gender neutral zeitgeist are you?

IIRC, Muslims are in general content to eat kosher food (including meat) if it does not have alcohol in it. I expect it is more complex than that with different schools of thought etc.

                    nope.

You presuppose that all my all views fit into a certain slot you have in your mind. That's bigotry.

The gender neutral thing is all bulltulip IMO. It's just a word.
Try telling the French that wine isn't masculine. Or a door is neutral. They'll look at you oddly.

And I'm not sure I called anyone a bigot (read the posts). I may have pointed out that some of what was being posted could be classed as a bigoted view.
Someone can have a bigoted view, but not actually be all bigot. So to call someone a bigot needs rather a lot of evidence of all their views.
