I only bet when I go to the horses which is rarely.
Most people I know do that much betting e.g. very rarely or once/twice a year.
Ok my definition of casual differs from yours. There are people that will place a bet on a weekly basis, there are people that play literally every min of the day for the entire waking day, especially with casino type games.
There are a surprising number of older people that bet on a regular basis, never understood why.
Ah, that's why I mentioned that a few "one off" bets (not subject to the deposit) would be allowed, precisely so casual "Grand National" betters would not be excluded.
But I agree my proposal probably wouldn't really be very effective.
Yep i understand but there are lots of different types of betting, you can bet on the outcome of the lottery, freekicks, penalties etc. You can play online casino games, where you may place several bets within one game.
