Don't say anything about the non-linear reduction of odds. Coin tosses are always 0.5 probability versus a lumpy odds reduction in a typical PSL recruitment funnel.

Yes it does. The Point I am making with the mathematical 1000:1 calculation is that the odds are very stacked against you if you chucking CVs at intermediaries via the likes of jobserve. There are limited barriers of entry and thus everyone and their dog does it. Its looking like a waste of time when there is large amounts of supply and limited or restricted demand.

Indeed. As any decent agent will avoid jobserve. They use specialist sites like *********. I don't think I will mention the one in my sector as I don't want others jumping in....
