Yes but they've picked up UKIP voters, who were mostly Tories really. Sunderland shows UKIP -16% and Con +11% and Lab +4%. Really Cons have lost some of the previous UKIP voters to Labour, not gained.

I know. I was going to watch the exit poll and see if I was right about the Tories getting a small number of extra seats, or whether I was wrong and the Tories were getting a large number of extra seats, and then watch something else for a bit and go to bed. And now it's actually interesting. Grrrr.

So Labour underperforms in north and east and does better in London and south. Or something different.
