Not for the many or for the few, but for the none?

    Excellent choice.

At my local station Labour was giving out leaflets stating that if we vote for them they will make it Zone 5 giving us all a MASSIVE WHOOOPING savings of £190 per year. I was gonna vote for them right there and then.

He must be a youngster. Bless.
It used to take weeks to get a line transferred well after privatisation, i.e. within the last 10 years. It's not reasonable to compare the technology either... today it can be done with a mouse-click and surely it wasn't that way before.

Luckily I post-date the tribulations of which you speak but seem to recall getting your bins emptied under Thatcher was quite hard and she was no socialist.

Is it at all concerning that the PM said there would be stringent checks on the sale of national infrastructure to foreign investment, but has approved the sale of the majority of the National Grid to a consortium from China and Qatar?

Of course not! It's all good news!

            As every year:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Are we heading for a hung parliament?

Early indicators are showing that Labour are surging ahead in the election.
Tories expected to catch up later this evening when their voters get home from work.
