    He only had one, or maybe 2, if I remember correctly. Perhaps it was in a backwater town up North where prices hadn't risen in the past 10 years.

      I had 2 in London, no mortgage, both bought for a relative pittance in the 90s/ early 00s.
      Paid/paying the eye-watering CGT, yes
      But still left with a nice lump sum which is in an index fund now.
      Hard Brexit now!
