Cultural segregation. Natural so hard to solve in the short term. Similar to all those expats in Benidorm wanting it to be Britain abroad, or any other place where people want to feel they belong, nothing makes someone more comfortable than feeling they're living within their own culture they knew from birth.

As contractors we recognise that people move around due to opportunities to better their lives and prospects of their family, yet don't necessarily want to integrate into the culture of the place they move to. If all the brexit scaremongers are right it will at least make Britain less attractive than other European countries so all the immigrants will move elsewhere.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Maybe these chemistry boffins should be showing how common items/products can be made inert yet still effective for their intended task
They did that with sodium chlorate. I was always making little bombs with chlorate and sugar when I was about 12, wouldn't work anymore.

PS Just for fun in my garden I should add.

The perpetrator was born here. The perpetrator of the Westminster attack was born here. I don't think any British retirees in Spain are planing the downfall of the country. It's obviously somewhat fashionable to take the pi55 out of anyone that suggests that there are a large number of people who have fundamentally different in outlook, human rights and beliefs to those we've benefitted from in the UK. Having lived in a country is split down religious lines I can assure you it doesn't take long for sides to close ranks and rapidly go downhill.

Most fertiliser contains fire preserver these days... albeit not difficult to separate.

Yes! I remember trying to make home made land mines out of that!

Hide in the long grass and wait for some chump to stand on it.

Fortunately, nobody ever did (and I doubt it would have worked anyhow)

Feck. I'm getting there pretty fast myself. Hardly recognise the country these days since Brexit. The leaning to the right is frightening, the hate filled lies in elections during Brexit had no place in a modern democracy. Debt has become the new new, saving for the future a thing of the past. Definitely changed times...

                  And your point is?

As they are covering their face does that mean they are EDL? Britain First? IRA? PFJ?

I think this segregation issue is far more prevalent up North judging by the year I spent there many years ago.
Muslim communities up there seem to live in their own bubble, unlike in London where there is more integration.
Interesting fact is essentially the ringleaders of July 2005 and now Manchester came from such communities.
And you see the same pattern in Belgium and France.

                    Hard Brexit now!

Look at the colour of her hands - I doubt she's Britain First Though the rest of her does look like a comedy muslim in a niqab straight from central casting
