    Black suit for the interview?

After a month in bench, I have an interview (tech role) at Canary Wharf next week. Just wondering if a black suit would be an appropriate attire.

I have never worn a suit for work or for the interview in the past, so I am a bit uncertain.

As long as you don't have

    A) a black pencil tie, shades and carry some big alien looking gun
    B) a hearse parked in the visitors spot

    you'll be fine.

What would you do if we said it was unacceptable? Is spending £100 quid on a suit to land 60K+ worth of work too much?

Surely just weddings or funerals, or bleeding radiators at a push

There is also a Slaters Menswear in Brum. Could get himself a smart Ted Baker number for less than that.

I have the same opinion. Black for an interview it's corny.
