She is 21 points ahead of Labour.

She can get rid of the Labour party by people either voting Lib Dem or Tory.

Labour will then be in a mess for 8 years while they find a centre ground leader.

Most Labour party members are now closet Tories who will vote for the most unelectable candidate.

TM wins either way. If Tories get even more seats, she get to do whatever she wants; if Labour win (I know...) the Tories can tell everyone that whatever goes wrong with Brexit is Labour's fault. Because Brexit is happening, regardless of whoever wins the next GE, and the next one, and the one after that.

Oh tosh. Them Tories have been rumbled for election fraud the last time round. They need a legitimate win before the crown begins to issue custodial sentences. That's probably the real reason for the GE being called.

That would lead to the possibility of 26 by-elections which would mean no Tory majority.

Call me a cynic but doesn't a GE also coveiniently get rid of one or two embarrassing manifesto pledges....or at least allow them to be rewritten...
