Can you explain how an Ethereum wallet can be linked to someone's personal details?

For example -

Match personal info by email address (if you are not using totally different emails for variety of unrelated to tulipcoins Net services).

Follow IP address (chain - if you are into VPNs/proxies).

Or just get personal info from “exchanges” that will be forced to follow KYC.

There are certainly other ways - it’s the area ripe for criminals to jump in - once they know you they might not even need brute force tactics, instead they’ll get password to your wallet (and other passwords) from a van parked across the street whilst enjoying their late night Starbucks.

I can't remember any serious bank in the UK being hacked and customer list with addresses and their balances leaked.

There are lots of whales who could be doxxed through their social media but the majority who don't want to be known don't shout about how much they're making all over the Internet.
