To be fair, could blockchain if implemented correctly have prevented the entire crash on Wall Street? All of those packaged bad debts couldn't have been re-sold back with their new A+++ rating or however it worked, been too long since I watched The Big Short.

The point is, global elite and governments, in cohort, wanted that to happen. There is no way they will allow blockchain to prevent them manipulating the masses - not unless they can control it to their advantage.

Well looking at current gold price chart going back to early 1970s, it's a lot closer to the all time high of a few years ago than the long term average before recent times and exponential national debt.

Falls into my "do you feel lucky punk" risk rating.

Love the 'nonchalant, resigned to the inevitable' way this lass 'lends' the $400K she's made in the last 4 months (starting from ICO) in 'alleged Ponzi' Hextracoin, a Bitconnect clone.
There's a strong possibly she won't see a cent of it, no-one can withdraw anything from the site !
Essentially the platform is currently a web site with a 'deposit BTC here' entry box and 'click here to see numbers change' buttons.
The anonymous, untraceable devs behind this (believed to Vietnam based) are literally laughing all the way to the BTC wallet.
