See I picked that paper just for you.

I'd put a good chunk of cash that a Conservative Government would never sell out NI, Gibraltar or the Falklands. Now Corbyn would be a different matter, but thankful there's bu66er all chance of that. In fact Blair was going to pull a fast one with Gibraltar. Says it all really.

I know a little bit about it having good Polish friends who now live in Manchester. They said pretty much the same thing. Anyway, I hope you stay. The UK's not perfect, but I always felt it works if you can put in the effort. It just needs to get a handle on housing costs.

I referenced the English electorate, not TM.

They vote in a Conservative Government, at least where I come from they do.

I for one, don't what you to go. You are welcome. And if you do go, you're welcome back anytime!

Baby if you've got to go away
            I don't think
            I can take the pain
            Won't you stay another day
Oh don't leave me alone like this
Don't say it's the final kiss
            Won't you stay another day
            Don't you know
            We've come too far now
            Just to go
And try to throw it all away
            Thought I heard you say
            You love me
That your love was gonna be here to stay
            I've only just begun
            To know you
            All I can say is
Won't you stay just one more day
Baby if you've got to go away
            I don't think
            I can take the pain
            Won't you stay another day

And isn't this an example of the democratic deficit of representative democracy? The Conservative Party cares passionately about the status of NI in the union. I doubt the English electorate cares at all.

As they say in diplomatic circles: Nations have no permanent friends or allies, they only have permanent interests.
No, they do not. On top of that they do like a good punch-up with Europe burning in the background. The EU project is built on the idea that close cooperation and interdependency will prevent the bloodbaths of the past. Britain bailing out of that sends a clear message that peace on the European continent is not one of the British permanent interests.

I could have been more careful in my choice of words... let's try again... "Britain sends a clear message that membership of the political organisation designed to maintain peace on the European continent is not aligned with British permanent interests." Better?

Jesus wept, you really do have an overdeveloped sense of guilt don't you?

Britain entered both world wars in order to stand behind Belgium(WWI) and then Poland(WWII).

Millions of our forefathers were killed and injured in doing so yet a sanctimonious little c0cksocket like you can't wait to wring your slimy hands in mock grief.

Take a good look at yourself you muppet!

“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”
