Maybe we could have sent in a military coalition force to put things right?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostI just don't get how the world stood by when people like that ones I've just spoken to had their lives torn apart on the scale it did.

Scooter now realises one of the world's oldest developed civilisations has something to offer.
Key thing is that they were turning a blind eye to murder.
A turning point to me was 30 years ago when I talked to 3 guys from Iraq. They mentioned how they knew about the murder & torture, they just kept their heads down because he didn't bother them.
Iraq, Syria & Afghanistan were all the same if we hadn't done something it would have continued. More of the less beautiful people would have died horribly.
Of course we turned a blind eye as well because we put the nutters in power because the alternative was worse.Comment

So you've met a white, middle class Syrian and that makes her more deserving of our help than those poor blacks that you thought made up the population? Of course the blacks didn't have so far to fall did they, so it's had less impact on them?Comment

don't confuse him with facts again.Originally posted by TheGreenBastard View PostWhat about the fact that most are in fact young males?
To most reasonable people their varying skin tone is a non-issue, that's just projection on your part. Having said that, most are darker than the average Irish chick, but you've found an outlier that promotes your world view, bravo.Comment
