While this solution worked, it was fundamentally flawed, creating the otherwise contradictory systemic anomaly, that, if left unchecked, might threaten the system itself. Ergo, those who refused the program, while a minority, would constitute an escalating probability of disaster.

You lot have got him guilty of murder before the trial is even over! And I'd bet that if this was a white, middle aged woman, or some suited-up, city stock broker type in this guys place yous wouldn't be as quick to sentence him.
It doesn't matter what race/colour/creed he is, he's guilty as sin.
You are telling me he accidently cocked the gun and then took off the safety catch and then fired it 3 times at police officers by mistake???
Gun's don't just randomly fire, you have to do a few things to make them ready to fire, if you don't cock it there will be no round in the chamber so when you fire it nothing will happen. If the safety catch isn't taken off nothing happens when you pull the trigger. You don't cock a gun and take the safty catch off before you go out as it could go off at any time.
If he genuinely wanted the court to belive it was a mistake he should have said that he thought his mate had handed him a blank firer and he was shooting off some blanks to scare the officer. Whaqt he is doing is telling very bad lies and he should go down for life!!!Comment
