Anyone been to Tokyo?

Any suggestions or general tips - we'll be based about an hour from central Tokyo?

The advice should be updated every hour to 'even more dosh'.

It's not as bad now as it was in the summer. £1 = 165Yen in March. For some unknown reason it dropped to 120Y in July/August but has got back to 140Y now.

Electronics are expensive. Most other things are similar prices to the UK, apart from train travel which is relatively cheap.
