Mrs V is a child minder so I would trip over crying brats all day.
Is it a nice place to be because it's a log cabin or is that just for external aesthetics? We've stayed in proper cabins in Finland and they're very nice spaces.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

NLUKs Mrs likes to keep things fairly fluid.
She has the following preferred working locations:-
The dingy dark fully equipped dungeon.
The Elton John Suite, fully lined in oil proof PVC.
The Christopher Biggins Naughty Boy Room.

I've got a dedicated office at home that I designed and decorated myself in high art deco style. It's got hand made repro 20's lead lights and hidden surround sound system behind original brass floor registers in a 1920's sunburst pattern that I ordered from the States. I sanded the backs off the registers and used some original period speaker cloth to finish them off then fitted them on the ceiling to look like air con vents fitting cube speakers behind. I added stepped coving and a hexagonal ceiling rose plus a plaster art deco "wing" over the door frame. The skirting was replaced with a 1923 reproduction pattern and a repro bakelite light switch was ordered from a specialist firm in Australia. My 1930's framed motor racing posters are all from the same firm in France who produced the pre-war originals. A local firm made curtains for me from some pattern photos taken at an old theatre in the US. The desk and bookcases are reproduction 1920's stylee with cream fronts over bronze with leather handles. I bought some vintage marble photo frames and a 1920's marble clock from various antique shops and Fleabay. The clock garnitures are used as bookends for my collection of cocktail books.
I spend a lot of time in here. You may think I'm quite mad.Last edited by Lockhouse; 3 February 2017, 18:08....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Its this one
Log cabins, wooden garages, garden buildingins, bespoke log cabins, butumen shingles
Looks like you can get it all installed for £7K
Rumus Plus 2 Log Cabin 44mm 5x3m
Inside its wood ceiling, walls & floor decorate how you want, I varnished the floor & left the rest plain. There is enough hi tech hardware to stop it feeling sparse. Fitted a 2.5 M bench & Skirting boards in the office, Kitchen cabinets in the workshop, door is into the workshop so the office stays warm.
Its in the corner with the shed, there will be a fence & flowerbed in front of it.
I plan to hide it slightly by covering it in lots of gutter hydroponics & hanging baskets. We will have a veggie garden that the snails & kids don't ruin. You can also use it for climbing plants or similar.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

The way you kit up a room has a lot to do with how you feel in it, at least it does for me.
They buy/sell that sort of thing too, last time I went down they had an amazing large fan, from the '20s, made of Ostrich feathers, with its own case. The Chunt of Chunts.Comment
