Sorry to hear about your daughter, MF - I hope she makes a rapid recovery. Sometimes being a parent is truly terrifying.
I suspect Gran is going to need a bit of support as well, she must be feeling terrible.Life is just nature's way of keeping meat fresh

There are plenty of examples in the US whereby a pre-nup was signed based on a percentage of assets at the time and predicted in the future of the marriage, but by the time it was over, the asset value was way above what was previously predicted, making any ex-wife's claim for additional settlement to reflect these gains valid and perfectly legal.Comment

one of my best friend's wife almost died during child birth in the last week..
