Originally posted by chopper View PostSo Scottish people want to leave, but non-Scottish people in Scotland want to remain, is what you're saying?
65% of leave UK votes were by residents in Scotland who were Scottish by birth.
25% of leave UK votes were residents in Scotland from other EU countries.
The average for leave was 45% as a result. Had EU nationals living in Scotland voted leave at 40% we'd have had a leave vote the same as Brexit, 52%.
I can't make it any clearer than that. If you still don't get it, advise your clients they're paying you far too much and there are ameba on Saturn with greater intelligence.

If Scotland then votes to leave the UK, as they are completely at will to do, if and when they can legally arrange another referendum, they will still not be in the EU, and thanks to Spain, their chances of joining the EU are slim, to say the least.Comment

But they can console themselves that they're smarter than the amoeba-sized entity that serves as your brain!
How many more times before it penetrates your dense skull? There's no way Scotland can stay in the EU, because several other EU countries with separatist movements would certainly veto the proposal, even if the UK Government was keen on the idea, which they certainly are not.Work in the public sector? In effect Scotland is kicking the rUK out of the UK."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment
