Agreed. I think the borders of Europe are more import today than those of the individual countries. One step at a time.

So do most of the nations that are being flooded with refugees largely due to Mrs Merkel's offer to take in millions of strays.

That is why so many of them are constructing large fences.

Oh dear, d000hgy, your ego certainly precedes you. In what world of sky fairies and battered Mars Bars does "she says she would, and I believe her" constitute an argument, let alone a "demolition"? You have an opinion, and it suffers from the distinct disadvantage of being wrong.

            Is this opinion wrong:

“44 per cent of our exports go to the EU, but only eight per cent of the EU’s exports are to Britain. Remaining in the EU makes us more prosperous.”
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

What does that have to do with the SNP? For Scotland, the rUK export market is four times as large as the EU Single Market. Yet, according to the SNP, the EU Single Market is "essential", and independence from the rUK (read, from the rUK single market) is also essential. The SNP don't give a flying haggis about the Scottish economy. Their focus is on walking the line by keeping independence on the table without actually precipitating it.

I'm sure you had a point in your head, but the relevant thread is two stops down on the left.

So make your mind up. Does being outside the UK mean that Scotland would be barred from trading with rUK ?
