The dirt, dust and muck I just can not describe. It'd be a bit different if it's a more modern house with plasterboard throughout, but lath and plaster is ******* something else. I can't even describe!

And then you have to get all the nails out....sigh.

I think for those jobs you need to get some mates around. For most of the rooms I had a couple of people over and we had a good laugh with plenty of brews and music but I had to do a few by myself which was just grim and boring!
