I agree ..... however he's also going to be the President of the United States of America.
Looks like he might actually have this crazy idea of trying to implement things he campaigned on. That'll make a change from your usual "Career Politicians" for a start.
Trump will destroy the US and hence the West. He will implement what he campaigned on which boils down to spending and protectionism. None of which solves the problems of uncompetiveness and high debt, in fact will only make them worse.

Hth, bidi.
Oh dear. Will your Hard-BREXIT preparations you've been rattling on about for the last couple of months survive the Destruction-of-the-West that you are now prophesying?
Mind you it will look good for a few years. Easy to have a boom when you spend. US growth rates will be high, stock markets will boom. Use it on a personal level because the end result will be a disaster.

“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The International Monetary Fund on Monday raised its forecast for the U.S. economy over the next two years, saying President-elect Donald Trump's policies should boost economic growth, particularly in 2018. But officials warned that if Trump's protectionist trade proposals set off a trade war, that could be "quite destructive" for the global economy.
And that's in addition to the UK having the highest growth of all developed economies in 2016. DESPITE Brexit. And having jumped above the US and Switzerland as the place for top talent to move to. And in addition to 20 angry birds moving to the UK!

What growth? In relative terms UK lost 25% GDP and will soon be out of top 10 countries by GDP.
