Sooner or later this was going to happen & today of all days
After a 2 hour commute I get to the office & realise that my bag is feeling a little light.
Yes, that laptop that they insist I take home with me every night is still on my bedroom floor.
Half a day of my life wasted. Happy New YearFound an old desktop I could do some work on, while me wife got the laptop sent over by courier. Arrived the following morning. I'm sure you could have done something similar - must be less than the lost billable hours.

I have one MBP for when I'm in the office provided by the client and my own at home provided by my Ltd, which one I work on depends on where I am (VPN certs and git remote branches is all I need)Comment

That happened to me once. So I left the office and went back upstairs to the bedroom to fetch said laptop."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment
