"why ride a vespa when you can push a lambretta?"
As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding; like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood." -
You do realise that this is Contractor UK. And in the UK, "ass" means "donkey". The fact that you've failed to pick up on this twice confirms that you are an arse.Originally posted by Major Hassle View PostIf "what I'm on about is't clear" I have neither the time or the crayons to explain it to you both.Down with racism. Self righteousness cretin. The Oxford English Dictionary also has the following definitionOriginally posted by NotAllThere View PostYou do realise that this is Contractor UK. And in the UK, "ass" means "donkey". The fact that you've failed to pick up on this twice confirms that you are an arse.
British informal A foolish or stupid person (also makes following reference Mid 19th century: variant of arse.)

I'm a bit offended the officers aren't letting those poor (male-only) victims of a war zone mingle with the natives - surely a breach of their human rights?Comment

It is true that an ass is British English for a stupid person, but in this context it is irrelevant. When you said "but I’m having a hard time getting my head that far up my own Ass", you did not mean "but I’m having a hard time getting my head that far up my own foolish or stupid person", rather "but I’m having a hard time getting my head that far up my own arse". Is it your own pig-headed self-righteousness that prevents you admitting that, in error, you used the wrong word? Just wondering.Originally posted by Major Hassle View PostSelf righteousness cretin.
