Buying properties for Rent...expanding my business

Gosh i hear these contractors buying properties for their pensions.
How do u guys do it ... i hear one IT contractor buying 12 properties but how ?
I am thinking of expanding my business of my LTD company to include rented properties.

Was thinking of my pension , that's all.
