Ah well we'll take our chances. We all know you'll be moaning whatever happens.

I'm sure the EU will sail on serenely as Serbia, Macedonia and Albania join and replace us impoverished Brits.

Well I think we have done the EU a favour by leaving.

With the UK no longer an easy destination for all these hardworking immigrants then surely the rest of the EU will benefit from them?

Yes, that's true - in one advisory non-binding referendum with fraudlent claims Britain undone centuries of sensible policy which was to prevent France and Germany uniting on their own, well done Brexiters.

Given the power and might behind remain - I am astounded how successful the vote was. I mean the entire political establishment, government, international financial institutions, banks, musicians, film stars and Obama all gushed to tell how the EU was the only answer.

Just goes to show how sick of the status quo people are eh!

What status quo you talking about? It's not like UkIP got elected - things are the same now as before, only they about to get worse for majority of people

2% victory margin is no mandate for ANY drastic decision, Brexiters just home to have fait acompli (?) so that is too late to turn back - exactly the pattern suicide follows

The decision to leave has been made, the release button will be pressed, a slow gradual descent will bring from space station Europe. There will be turbulence, the re-entry will get heated, there is a risk of disaster; but I would rather have my feet on the ground than float around in a huge vanity project.

I might have missed it, but when did the UK government went out and publicly said: We will preserve the right of all EU citizens currently in the UK if the EU agrees to do the same for UK citizens residing in the EU, nos strings attached?
