The kids did 4,5 and 6 over the hols and enjoyed them (apart from the kissy bits) - much to the annoyance of Mrs Admin. She was even more annoyed when child #2 wanted an R2D2 toy. They want to watch 1, 2 and 3 now. I have prepared them for the disappointment that lies ahead. 7 was a bit meh, thanks to Platy's review I might bring myself to watch 8, once I can find a cheap copy somewhere

I thought it was good as a stand alone film but not as great as The Force Awakens which traded heavily on nostalgia.

I took my dad to see The Force Awakens and it was quite a special moment when Luke appears at the end as I watched the first 3 with him as a kid.
