Molenbeek is an example where if we neglect to socially integrate, there are consequences.
Its quite hard to integrate a Muslim society into a Christian society.

It's about control and religion is just another way to control. It's not in the interest of leaders of many Muslim communities to allow people to mix and receive different view points. Certainly not in the interest for them to have women educated and in the work force mixing with non-Muslims.

Christianity in this country is relatively benign, for the most part it's lost the ability to control people.

I would be pretty happy to see all religion disappear.

Exactly - my initial response was "no tulip Sherlock!!!"
It's probably the non-PC thing to say, but all we've proved after 50 years is that Enoch Powell was basically right all along. And the blame lies entirely with politicians, not the immigrant or "native" populations.

The whole report wasn't just about Muslims but it's funny how people on here automatically assume any time community cohesion is mentioned the only group that is looked at is Muslims. The report mentions Jewish Gypsies and other ethnic minority groups plus issues within the white working class. It also mentions the historic reasons e.g. post war migration of why different groups end up being concentrated in specific areas.

Definitely sense, if several decades too late. It is not positive when groups do not mix. Because most news is bad news you only see the negative sides, you need to meet real people to know they not all like that.

Much more rigid controls on migration as she suggests is one obvious remedy. Instead of asking daft questions about the Tower of London, we should ensure they accept and will abide by our laws and major principles. It is really crazy that our overstretched police have to deal with issues like FGM, forced marriage etc. Nobody who does not believe in secular law, equality and democracy should ever be given residence, let alone citizenship.

You mean the same Sikh community who send protesters to temples when people try to marry someone who is non-Sikh?
