Wow. Awful.
I suspect that many women would rather not save the marriage if the price is subservience.
If tings were the other way around, I bloody wouldn't.Comment

you haven't yet?
The Surrendered Wife, which tells women to stop nagging their partners and start treating them with more respect.
The six principles of being a 'Surrendered Wife'
Relinquishes inappropriate control of her husband
Respects her husband's thinking
Receives his gifts graciously and expresses gratitude for him
Expresses what she wants without trying to control him
Relies on him to handle household finances
Focuses on her own self-care and fulfilment
so treats the husband as a valued equal. Apart from the household finance bit seems fine to me if you replaced husband & gender specific words with spouse it would be pretty much what the vicar said to us before we got married.
Not surrender, more stepping up to the plate.Last edited by vetran; 4 December 2016, 12:26.Comment

Regularly remind Mrs V she is pushing the boundaries, some tears and then back to normal. She makes the same complaints of me, I man up & change. Why should men or women take disrespect?Comment
