Predictions for 2017

    1) Brexit gets mired in legal challenges
    2) Labour remain in complete paralysis
    3) May calls a snap General Election and gains a large parliamentary majority (not sure about the mechanics of this one due to full term parliament rules)
    4) Corbyn gets replaced
    5) Article 50 triggered
    6) Can't get all EU states agreeing to Brexit terms so we go to WTO rules
    7) At least one more EU state calls for membership referendum
    8) Rain still rains, sun still shines, the world keeps turning. Life will go on

                      The pound will fall further on Article 50 invocation.
                      Hence inflation will accelerate.
                      Most Brexiters and some Remainers will become worse off economically than they were
                      Foriegn holidays will become the preserve of the well off (good news at last!)
