Remember, more voted leave than remain. We're not trying to subvert justice. You are.
The courts ruled in your favour yet you keep whining and complaining it's unconstitutional."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

It would be ironic if the leave voters continued to attack the freedoms and institutions of this country and lost their support for a vote that was meant to Strengthen those very things they now attack.
The Government hasn't encouraged anything. The people feel this way. You need to understand that pdq.
For all the GEs I can remember, the losers have accepted the result and we have got on with it. On this occasion there are a few arrogant numpties determined to subvert democracy. They are the ones in the wrong. They're just too arrogant to see it.Comment

It's up to MPs and the Lords to decide whether to follow the will of the people.
Now I understand why Cameron completely ran away. If he was an MP he would be getting death threats from all sides.
He's the worst PM we have had since WWII.Last edited by SueEllen; 5 November 2016, 18:52."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

The law is that, in order to invoke Article 50, parliament must first be consulted. The reason is that leaving the EU will involve removing rights of UK citizens that have been enshrined in UK statute law, and only parliament has the power to do that, because of parliamentary sovereignty.
If the PM seeks to invoke Article 50 and leave the EU without consulting parliament, she is acting outside the law by taking to herself powers that do not belong to her. That would be a subversion of justice.
For somebody who presumably believes that UK laws and UK sovereignty are important, you don't seem to know very much about them.Comment
