Luckily for the US and the world of the world if the House of Representatives and Senate don't like the POTUS they will ensure nothing s/he puts forwards as legislation gets through."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -
Which will be fine until the Reichstag fire equivalent and the subsequent Enabling Executive Order granting the President extraordinary powers for the duration of the emergency.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostLuckily for the US and the world of the world if the House of Representatives and Senate don't like the POTUS they will ensure nothing s/he puts forwards as legislation gets through.Comment

There is talk of people now in states that allow it for people writing in their own choice of candidate on their ballot papers too so it could be up to congress (I understand) to decide who will be POTUS if there is no clear winner.Originally posted by saptastic View PostI assumed no women will vote for Trump and no groups such as hispanics, muslims etc i.e. large part of the population.
Republicans are slagging off Trump.
Therefore an easy win for HC.
Shows how bad HC is.
Out of the whole of America they have these two battling it out. Words can't do it justice really.

Did you read that on Trump's FaceBook page? Because a landslide is the one thing we won't get. Trump has categorically been consistently behind in the polls to varying extents.Originally posted by SpontaneousOrder View PostTrump landslide. Got 4-1 odds a few weeks back, which is nuts. No brainer to take them up on that offer.
Trump's been winning before the new email thing too - unless you think Clinton is going to get Obama 2008 scale turnout, in which case the poll samples & weightings might be slightly less absurd.
Is this like how there was ONE poll that said Scotland was going to vote OUT against dozens/hundreds which said otherwise?Originally posted by saptastic View Post

It's all about the electoral college vote. Trump has very few paths to victory. The probabilities reflect that. Even if you take the worst single poll of the race to date, Clinton wins the electoral college vote. That being said, turnout is always critical. A Trump win is possible, but it remains highly unlikely (not much parallel to the Brexit polling in that sense).Comment

I hope it's Trump, but more out of curiosity than anything else. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

It would certainly be entertaining in a sick Brexit kind of way.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostI hope it's Trump, but more out of curiosity than anything else.Comment
