There is actually an episode of "Still game" that aired last week where Alcohol got expensive and they ended up drinking "Moonshine" which made them go blind!
Personally, I don't think its a bad thing, I think Scotland has a big problem with the lower class alcohol drinkers. The amount of horror stories I hear from a Police friend is horrific.Comment
