If trump wins, the next president will be Kim Kardashian and maybe basing it on a personality contest would be good for the x-factor generation. Who cares about intelligence, ability or anything like that, we need to appeal to the lowest common denominator - Daily Mail/Express/Mirror readers.

Nothing too much happened. A few zingers back and forth but all overshadowed by Trump not issuing a flat "I will accept the result of the election" statement.

No, I'd point out that Trump is a Brexidiot, like you, but you pay more in tax.
Even when you don't stick FTFY after a post you've edited, it doesn't make you (or him) any less of a numbskull.

Trump is clearly very intelligent. He also has ability, of course, in his fields.

Whether they are abilities useful to a president or not remains to be seen, but comparing them to Clinton's abilities...
Wholesale destruction of the middle east & north africa, unleashig a hoard of terrorists & migrant 'crisis'. Alongside Obama, setting race relations back at least 20 years with their identity politics - setting man against woman, black against white, rich against poor.

Also looks as though she has great ability at corrupting US politics & media like no one had ever imagined.

People complaining that isn't like a proper politician have completely missed the point. If the US (and 'the west' to a degree) wasn't in a position where they need a Trump, we wouldn't have Trump.

Regardless of the outcome of the election (I stand to win a nice sum if he wins), Trump has been a great blessing to the US. Politics will never be the same again. The republican party has, in my opinion irreversibly, changed for the better - uniting Evangelicals & gays alike.
The Emperor that is the left wing mainstream media now clearly has no clothes in the eyes of hundreds of millions of Americans. And hundreds of millions of white Americans, and conservative Americans, have been encouraged and will carry that courage on to speak their mind & hold truth in high value in the face of leftist bigotry.

They will feel empowered to say 'No - it's ok to be a white man'. 'It's ok to be proud of, and to want to protect my anglo-european culture & heritage', and they will feel empowered to 'no, I am not my Brother's keeper' if they want to. They will feel empowered to publicly reject the leftist race to the bottom and to instead praise and hold as a goal individual excellence and achievement.

He's not 'God Emperor' Trump for nothing

Quite possibly. Irrespective of that though, nothing can remove the harsh and inescapable fact that, in numbskull terms, we are Vanarama standard whereas you are Champions League material.

I'm not sure about the first part. I'm sure he's a smart enough guy but not VERY intelligent unless you buy the angle that everything he says and does is carefully calculated, the way people sometimes claim about Boris.

I think the way he's gone about persuading people is genius. Although I don't know if it's done mindfully like selecting a tool from a toolbox - or whether he just has an innate understanding on human psychology.

For example (and there are more clever ones but this is an example) he exaggerates to bring an issue to light.

He says (i'm making the numbers up) '50% of all illegal immigrants are rapists!'.

and then before he can even say 'believe me.' the liberal left-wing media, who under other circumstances will *NEVER* talk about the problem suddenly are bombarding the airwaves on every channel crying:

'Trumps lying! He's an idiot and a bigot - only 25% of illegal immigrants are rapists! Ha!'

And now suddenly hundreds of millions of Americans are saying 'Oh my god! 25% of illegals are rapists! that's a big number! something must be done.'

Then as it gets closer to election time he tones down the hyperbole.

Also he says something seemingly absurd, like 'Blacks have never had it so bad in the history of this country.'

That sounds absurd, and people mock him for it. But even though it's not true it plants into the heads of black voters that Donald Trump sees their suffering & you know he's right - Obama has done made nothing better for them at all!

And in addition to that, because now is probably actually the best it has ever been for blacks in the US, all of his critics & media have to now reframe their arguments in order to attack him - saying how things are so much better now than they used to be. That's also a soothing thought for black voters who may vote for Trump if he can get them to think about jobs, etc, rather than 'democrats are the party which protects us from the oppressive white man'.

I like his names he attached to people in the Primaries too - Lyin' Ted, Crooked Hillary, etc. Hillary tries to be clever too and fails. She doesn't seem to be able to go a sentence without saying Trump's name: 'Trumped-up trickle down economics', 'love Trumps hate' etc.

I think that kind of persuasion & understanding - mindfully wielded or innate, is definitely a useful skill for a world leader to have. And is arguably a kind of intelligence, and possibly a more useful kind than others given that he should be surrounded by experts & advisors during his time on office.

                      Mmm really?

Trump has managed to alienate Hispanics, African Americans and other immigrant groups in the US. Lots of Americans detest both the Democrat and Republic candidates, and the Libertarian candidate is a pot-head who has a geographical knowledge issue amongst other things.

Anyway the US constitution is carefully constructed to limit the power of the President. So if the Senate, Congress and States don't agree with the President nothing gets passed. This is why Obama has managed to achieve SFA.
