Scots also had more personal freedoms than those in England (judged by asking people how satisfied they were with the ability to choose how they led their lives, such as practising religion and accessing birth control).

England: 72.7

Scotland: 74
The report, using EU statistics, found Scots were more likely to die from things such as a car accident. They also had the lowest rating in the UK for ‘nutrition and basic medical care’ (apologies Scots – just think of your human rights record).
