Happened to me once on a bus in the US. These two woman were as nice as pie for about 30 minutes chatting away when the biggest one of the two lent really close to me, put her arm round the back of my head and whispered "There's aliens in the WHitehouse, you know. They know all about it' - and then when on about it for about 15 minutes - deadpan serious, really concerned and started crying.
I could see her friend shaking her head in 'Oh no, here we go again'
