Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

      I don't agree.

Some people need a wake up call and a police caution then prosecution if it is a repeated offence is it.

The problem is that bikes are too effective as a transport mechanism over a short distances. The barrier to owning one is low and there is no IQ test or preparation needed to get on one and get places effectively.

It is making the users feel entitled to ride with out conscience and think that everyone else is responsible for their safety.

If you ride down the left hand side of any vehicle near a junction you are a tit.
If you ride in blind spots you are also a tit
If you jump lights/crossings or into turnings that already have pedestrians on them you are a dangerous tit

Even if we banished all motorised vehicles from the roads cyclists would still die in droves because too many of them ride without any notion of danger.

I live out of london in sunny Slough.

At least once every week on the bike some chunt overtakes me and turns left immediately. Mostly its the usual suspects BMW/Audi/White Van, rarely its a lorry but it has happened. Which considering I only do about a mile each end on the road (rest is across parks / bridle paths) I consider that fairly scary.

I can also tell you how few people seem to understand you aren't supposed to play Tetris while driving a vehicle. They are also confused about speed limits.

Cyclists don't realise where blind spots are in different vehicles.

If you can't see the drivers face in a mirror you are probably in trouble.

ok lets fix this for once and all.

Does the cyclist ride into the lorry or does the Lorry drive into the cyclist?
