Sounds a lot like Tony Benn's era of spunking money at daft engineering projects to keep people in jobs.

At least there was a nice plane at the end of the day. I wonder if Corbyn would be so ambitious.

Corbyn rebelled against the Labour whip many many times not just on Iraq. So he should expect other MPs to rebel against him and should get his supporters to stop threatening them.

Plus as an MP for London constituency especially an inner London one, it is fecking hard to milk the expenses system. Not one Greater London MP was exposed in the expenses scandal simply because their constituency home is in London therefore too near Westminster to have another home paid for. However 2 Luton MPs were caught as they were just far enough outside London to claim extra.

Didn't realise Jezza was involved in building the new Wembley stadium

I believe his expenses are pretty standard, there is a myth that he hardly claims as he only put through a printer cartridge one year and put the rest in late the next year.

So quite content to watch saddam Hussein butcher his people?

Not screwing the expenses system is the best you can come up with?

You forgot this one Jeremy Corbyn refuses to comment on new reports of 'close links' to IRA | The Independent
He so kindly lent support to those poor victims who were forced to become members of the IRA

You forgot this one Tories have forgotten that Thatcher wasn't just a terrorist sympathiser, but close friends with one

She so kindly invited a terrorist into her home for tea, and personally lobbied against a terrorist's prosecution for war crimes.

Depends on how you came to that decision.

If you viewed it like others including a certain dead MP viewed it e.g. it is because it would lead to a frigging mess then you may have had a point.

However if you viewed it in the Corbyn way - no war at any costs including in Kosovo where there was genocide which he claimed was made up then you don't.
