I've played both, to a good club standard. Got bored to tears playing league, there's only ever three people involved in any play and almost every score was down to one side making a mistake or a stroke of sheer genius by one player (usually not me, may I add!). At least Union pretends to be a team sport.
And I suppose ((Two steps, tackle, thrash, heel)*6, kick and hope. Repeat.) is preferable to kick and clap?
Anyway, both codes have gone astray recently. Give them 10 years and they'll be as pathetically introverted as footie.Blog? What blog...?
