Contractors, I detest them

Current ClientCo has several old contractors. They have all somehow so far managed to come across as pretty detestable - arrogant, mouthing off about previous roles, and assuming anyone they speak to is a dumb perm.

Should I ask my accountant why this is?

If you care remotely about anything other than getting paid then you have failed the contractor entity test and are definitely inside IR35.
