Only the cognitive elite get paid well now. That will not change ever.

You could expel all immigrants tomorrow and wages would not rise in the long run.

      HTH, BIKIW.
Part of the problem is using GDP growth as an economic success factor without considering what it actually means. Unfortunately too many people bought the Blair lie.

GDP per head would be a better measure.

          Ok then.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...al)_per_capita

UK (lots of immigration) GDP per capita is higher - on all 3 different measures - than Japan (no immigration at all).

Switzerland has one of the highest GDPs per capita and also has far more immigrants per capita at > 20% of population.

Anyone who's been to Japan would know they're all packed in like sardines, whether it's on the train, their flat, their tiny work desks, where they spend 14 hours a day or their tiny hotel rooms.

              I'm alright Jack

We include imputed rent in our GDP (and GDP per capita) figures:

So basically our economy is rising house prices. Plain and simple.

But at least they don't have to meet any chinks/wops/spics/frogs/pakis/n*gg*rs.

video on site, he really tears into him.
Of course he does, Ferrari is a Tory (who doesn't like certain foreigners it seems looking at his record: https://www.theguardian.com/media/20...lumandrefugees ... Black information Link:)

He was going to stand as Mayor for London at one point but Johnson stood although it was difficult for the Tories on which one of the more obnoxious gits to pick to stand...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
