If Britain gets "screwed over" to quote you directly, it is because the little Adolphs in Brussels and Strasbourg need to send a very large and pointy message to the rest of Europe that they need to stand in line and get royally screwed via Brussels, not out on our own. *some* understand that fully, and thankfully we were in the majority. Get back in your playpen, and don't make a mess.Originally posted by diseasex View PostThe fun part about this article is not that it's probably untrue. Before 23 June the UK's EU membership Sword of Damocles was Sheathed.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostSince when did the UK leave the EU? There has been been no repeal of Article 50 yet so the UK is still a member. Don't forget that the referendum is not legally binding...
It's now drawn, raised and ready to be used to sever the membership with a single blow on the anointed day drawing closer and closer ...Comment
