Really?Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostBritain should leave the European Union quickly and not be drawn into a discussion about watering down the voters' clearly expressed wish for limits on immigration
I don't recall "limits on immigration" being an option on the referendum paper. It was "Remain" or "Leave".
Personally, I voted leave but I have no problems with the freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and workers. I do have a problem with being overly entangled in the extremely inward looking European Union, and Britain as an outward looking nation will prosper.
The EU is all about barriers to trade with the outside world, under their whole "you want to trade with us? Well here's our fee" mantra that ensures free trade deals are kept forever in the long grass.Taking a break from contractingComment

That was the Brexit campaign all over - "more money for the NHS" , "Control of immigration" ... with no mention of how this would or even could be achieved. But it won.Originally posted by chopper View PostReally?
